I’m In Your Neighborhood
Welcome to the Stone Soup Digest! This is where I share what I'm up to and some of my favorite things from around the internet. Subscribe to Stone Soup to get this in your inbox every week.
Neighborhood Watch FOC is Monday
The final day for comic book shops to place their orders for the first issue of my new series–Neighborhood Watch–is on Monday! That means you’ve only got a couple of days left to call your local comic shop and add Neighborhood Watch to your pull list!!
Just like any other book, day-one sales of comics are a big deal for authors and publishers. The sales of issue one determine whether I’ll get to write more comics in the future! Your decision to add Neighborhood Watch to your pull list means the whole world to me. If you’re on the fence, here’s a truly smokin’ video trailer!

I’m coming your way!! (Maybe)

Tucson, Arizona! I’m heading your way. I’ll be at the Tucson Festival of Books at The University of Arizona Mall on March 14 and 15! I’ll be in the company of some really, truly incredible authors like R.L. Stine, Tochi Onyebuchi, K. Applegate, John Scalzi, Rachel Harrison, Catriona Ward, Alix Harrow, and TONS more. Get more information here!
New Haven, Connecticut! I’ll be on faculty at Sirens March 18-22! I’m going to be speaking on fear in the body, the way authoritarianism weaponizes our need for routine, and my old favorite: The function of hope. There’s still time to register here!
Anaheim, California! WorldCon 2026 is right around the corner and I’m going to be there! The con will take place March 27-29. I’ll update here when I know my full schedule, but you can also find information and get tickets here.
I’ll see you on the road!
